The GD Studio has confirmed there will be multiple maps available at launch, and that players will be able to create their own maps as well. The Steam Workshop  will be available to players who wish to create mods for new maps to share with the Diabotical community. The maps are 3 dimentional and multi level. Players can shoot in a 360 degree area. The allows for complexity and variety in map creation.

New maps will be listed here as we learn more about them. Modded maps will be in the Modding articles of the wiki community.

Using Maps from Other Modes in Custom Lobbies[]

If you wish to use a map from one mode in another you can do so with the following trick:

  1. Select the mode you want
  2. Open the console with the button above tab, to the left of 1(~ on qwerty keyboards, different key on other layouts)
  3. Run the command /lobby_custom_map <mapname>
  4. Change one setting in the settings menu back and forth such as duration
  5. Start the game

To get a list of official map names for use in this way:

  1. Open console
  2. Type /edit
  3. Hit tab

To get a community map name

  1. Start a game in the map (you must use the map's intended game mode to get its name)
  2. Run the command /lobby_custom_map
